Working with Amy was a true pleasure. Throughout the entire process from our initial meeting, planning, day of wedding and finally collaborating with her to design our wedding album she was nothing but a constant professional. She went above and beyond the day of our wedding to the point of even helping my maid of honer sew a tare in her dress! Amy brings a contagious and radiant energy to an already spectacular day.
During the family formals she kept our entire family focused and on track. My husband and I were nervous as we had never had professional photos taken of us until our wedding day. Amy guided us with clear direction that provided a sense of calm which allowed us to be ourselves. She was able to capture the love and emotion we have for each other and of that day.
Being photographed by Amy is like being photographed by your best friend. She is warm and caring and wants you have the best experience possible. You can tell that Amy loves what she does and takes pleasure in capturing these special moments in her clients lives.
Amy was fantastic! She had experience working at our venue at granite links. She knew exactly where all the best places to take pictures. I felt extremely comfortable the whole night with her. I have had the pleasure of working with Amy 3 times now. She was at my sister’s wedding through another company and when I saw her get on the floor for her shot at my sister’s wedding, I knew I needed to use her for my own (even before I was engaged). I was so happy to book with Amy through her own business. She was so professional and easy to communicate with. She was excited about all of her shots as if it was her own wedding. My husband and I had a blast at our wedding, we never felt like we were missing out on anything by taking pictures and we cannot wait to see the pictures when they come in! My husband and I met Amy through a mutual friend and after seeing her wedding album we knew she was the right person for the job. To date, we have worked with Amy on several occasions (engagement and wedding pictures and hopefully a family session soon!). Only one word to describe each encounter: FUN! She was professional and very easy to work with. She did not turn the wedding into a photo shoot-It was very relaxed. The wedding was our day and she captured it perfectly. It was actually difficult to choose which pictures would make it into the photo album! Amy and her partner blended right in with the guests and captured the real wedding mood. She even popped into a few of the pictures, which I thought was great! She was ready to tackle any obstacle that got in the way of a good time whether it was related to photography or not. Amy was an absolute pressure and would definitely hire her again as well as recommend her services to anyone who asks!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Amy saved me from wedding photographer catastrophe. I first met her when she did my best friends wedding photos (my friend loved everything about them, btw). I had initially signed with another person, but after much disappointment and frustration I had to let them go. I reached out to Amy hoping that she would still be available, and she was! Sensing my anxiousness, she was calm, reassuring, and professional, getting back to me with all the answers and information that I needed in record time. She came out to do our engagement photos that same week, going more than an hour and a half out of her way to do so. We had SO much fun, it was hard not to with her openness to creative ideas paired and sense of humor! Even my fiance, who is very quiet and shy, loosened up about ten minutes into the shoot. PLUS, she sent us the shots to review just a couple days later, and once approved gave me the images to download in about a week!!! And let me just say, I honestly don't think there is one shot that we don't like, they came out amazing, we absolutely love them and so does everyone else we've shown. Amy is passionate about what she does without a doubt. She will go the extra mile for the ones that hire her and I'm so relieved that I did.. I would recommend 100000%
With a wedding disaster of the century we lost out on our already hired vendors. Everyone says things happen for a reason and I am beginning to believe that. We had 7mo to plan all over again an entire wedding having to push our date back to July I was in need of a photographer ASAP! Some research on The Knot and google I came across Amy Mae Photography. Paul and I could not be more happier with the experience, dedication, intimate focus etc. Amy made everything happen for us and was so open minded and fun! We decided to do our engagement shoot at The Mount in Lenox MA this was our first time along with Amy and it was just a beautiful place to have your photos done. We had so much fun being the first time we all got to meet face to face and it allowed us to be ourselves and not feel camera shocked. Big day arrived and Amy came with an assistant, her assistant took care of the guys (poor thing) I am Sure she captured some non adult childish like behavior before hand. Amy took myself and the girls and snapped all the meaningful photos. Unfortunately, our flower girl was not having it..dress refused, hair refused etc. my hair wasn’t what i wanted so we had to start all over again taking up time that should have been spent with my girls and photos (my apologies Amy) so the “special photos” with her did not happen, but needless to say I got a great moment with my best friend and maid of honor helping me into my dress. I am super excited to see all the photos, if your unsure of whom to hire to capture your big day please consider or HIRE Amy Mae Photography you will not be disappointed!
We met Amy for the first time at our engagement shoot. She arrived early, and unfortunately there was a confusion of time and my fiance and I thought our session was 1 hour later than scheduled. Amy eased my anxieties about being an hour late and made it a fun, relaxing time as soon as we met her. Despite losing some time, Amy absolutely made sure we made the most of the time we had left and made sure she was able to get the most shots we can want for an engagement shoot. What could’ve turned out to be a disaster, Amy was able to make sure that everything still ran smooth and that we had a fun, exciting day. We hired Amy as our wedding photographer and She was amazing. When we first met her for our engagement pictures she made the whole day so much fun! Even encouraged us to have a popcorn fight which made some hilarious pictures! The day of the wedding she was great, we got so many good shots and she’s just so fun to have around for any occasion, she was dancing with all of us throughout the night and we got so many great compliments about her the day of and still now over a year later about how great she was and the pictures came out even better than we could’ve imagined. We just hired her again to do our maternity pictures and we cannot wait to work with her once again, she’s so easy going and you can tell she really loves what she does. I would recommend her to anyone!
Amy was beyond amazing. From the minute we met her, she put us at ease and made the entire photography process so very easy. She was friendly, thoughtful, and understanding of the pandemic impacting our celebration. She took the lead when asked to and allowed us to make suggestions. Amy really made every single person at the wedding and the party feel comfortable and a part of the process, just as we wished. Throughout our ride around town to capture some very meaningful pictures, she was patient and suggestive for good shots, good poses, and good locations. She shared some anxiety with us as we were approaching a picturesque sunset and time was of the essence...she realized that, kept us calm and helped us to get the shots we wanted. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the experience and time spent with Amy and we absolutely can not wait to see the finished product!! Bride-I cannot recommend Amy Mae Photography enough!! 10 + stars should be an option. Amy photographed our back yard wedding this past September. Throughout the entire process Amy was professional, flexible, patient, extremely responsive and reliable, and so, so, fun! She and her staff captured our wedding better than we could have ever imagined. Beautiful classic shots, artistic photos, she 100% understood what we wanted and went above and beyond!!
